Stallion: Night- muscular black arabian with a white stocking and star. Lead Mare: Mares: Fillies: Colts: This is also the pecking order. Stallion, then Lead Mare, then the mares (in order they're own order), then fillies, then colts.
Jobs: Stallion- to protect the herd and keep them safe from other stallions. All so responsible for choosing the lead mare, and he is in charge of the herd. Lead Mare- her job is to keep track of the mares. Usually, when moving from place to place, the Lead Mare stays in the back of the herd, making sure no one is left behind. Second in command. She is not aloud to have foals, unless she forfeits her position. In a small herd, a lead mare is not necessary, but in a larger herd, she is. Mares- they are responsible for having foals. That's really it. Fillies- they can boss around the colts if they want to Colts- nothing. They are the lowest rank in the herd
Rules- 1. The colts are kicked out on their second to third year. They can then start their own herd, but are treated like an outside stallion, a threat to the herd. 2. Lead mares cannot have foals and keep their position. 3. Please keep this realistic! If you don't know what your horse would do in a situation, ask me, I will know!
